SPORT FOUNDATIONS

Are you a new handler and/or interested in pursuing dog sports?

Are you unsure where to begin?

Desire an individualized lesson plan tailored just for you?

Then these on-going class sessions are for you!

These working sessions go beyond basic Companion K9 skills and provide the handler with a beginning foundation of the science behind behavior modification while exploring beginner-level sport dog foundation skills for a variety of recognized dog sports.

Each Handler/K9 team will be able to explore at their own pace with guidance from our trainer(s) who will tailor a personalized plan for you as sessions progress.

We will answer your questions related to showing and trialing, as well as prepare your K9 for the trial environment. Unsure if you or your current K9 are ready to make the dog sport commitment or what sport you might be interested in?  That’s ok!

Exploration of these topics is a fun way to build the relationship with your dog and we anticipate you will become hooked and make lasting memories in the show/trial ring!
