MUSICAL FREESTYLE

Musical Freestyle

Musical Freestyle is fast becoming a mainstream canine performance sport that showcases the creativity and training skills of a dog-and-handler team. The sport is a mixture of obedience training, trick training, and a choreographed performance that allows for creative interaction between the handler and his/her dog. Each behavior is spilt into tiny pieces until mastered and then linked to other pieces and synced to music to form the final entertaining routine.

Skills to be taught include

  • Dog working on both sides of the handler's body

  • Sending the dog away and/or doing distance work

  • Tricks specific to desired routine

  • and More!
