Jennifer Gomlicker, CNWI

Jennifer is the owner and training director of K9 Venues, LLC. She has been working with animals and instructing people since 1982. Initially focused on equines, she has provided countless hours of group and private riding lessons and judged local horse shows. She and her students have competed in both english and western venues. She served on the Board of Directors for Riding Unlimited and dedicated four years to the White Tanks Mounted Search and Rescue Team. In 1992, she successfully developed and implemented an Equestrian Therapy Program for a long-term residential treatment center serving chemical dependent adolescents in Texas.

Likewise, her experience with canines is just as strong and diverse. She has instructed in obedience, tracking and K9 Nose Work® and has trained and handled narcotic and explosive dogs. A strong advocate for animal rescue, Jennifer has adopted several dogs and subsequently dealt with a variety of behavioral issues. She successfully trained her rescued Siberian Husky as a certified therapy dog and visited hospitals and nursing homes. She is CNWI™ certified through the National Association of Canine Scent Work, LLC® and teaches K9 Nose Work® classes in Southern Oregon. Additionally, she is an AKC Scent Work Judge, an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Evaluator, and a Canine Life and Social Skills Instructor. Other professional affiliations include the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, the United Schutzhund Clubs of America, the North American Dog Agility Council, Canine Performance Events, and the American Kennel Club.

Having the belief that continuous learning is key, Jennifer attends seminars on a variety of training methodologies. She understands everyone's experience levels and goals are unique and that personalized service is essential (one size does not fit all!). She is dedicated to learning about your personal goals and committed to building a training program that is focused on your specific needs.
