Companion Foundations (K9’s six months and older)

Set your dog up for success using science based modern training theory and learn about behavior modification through positive reinforcement. This 4 week course will introduce a variety of topics and address some of the most common problem behaviors.

Topics include:

  • K9 Body Language & Play Behaviors

  • Introduction to Markers

  • Engagement & Productive Play

  • Impulse Control for Biting/Mouthing

  • Appropriate Greeting & Social Skills

  • Crate Games

  • Love your Collar/Leash/Harness

  • Target and Place

  • Shaping for Positions

  • Polite Door Entrances/Exits
